City walks
From the Royal Palace to trendy SoFo ( visit Old Town, Riddarholmen and Södermalm)
Stockholm is a city in constant transformation. This walk starts from the historical centre, where Stockholm once was born. You will learn about some of the most important events that took place here in the past but also about present time. The next district we will visit was for 400 hundred years mainly populated by the poor working class. You will experience the highlights of Södermalm with old wooden houses and amazing scenery and learn about its past and present, where you can shop, eat or stop for a ”fika”. This tour ends in SoFo.
Stockholm – The Beauty on Water ( visit Gustaf Adolsfs torg, Old Town, Riddarholmen, Södermalm)
Stockholm was built on 14 islands surrounded by two larges bodies of water, Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. This walk will take you to some of the islands off the beaten track. On the way we will stop to enjoy the panoramic views and fascinating buildings. You will learn about historical centre and cradle of Stockholm , Swedish traditions and life style. This tour will end at Södermalm
A walk in the City and a visit of the Metro station Kungsträdgården
The walk will start from Hötorget and a presentation of the Nobel Prize, Stockholm´s development of the City centre and construction of the metro, department stores, Culturehouse and what is happening today in this area. We will make an indoor visit of Kungsträdgården Metro station after this we will continuing our walk to Kungsholmen and the City Hall. It is possible to add an indoor visit of the City hall to this tour. Of course depending on that it is during the opening hour of the City Hall.

There are many different ways to discover Stockholm. This guided tour focuses on famous people; actors, architects, businessmen, entrepreneurs, musicians, royalties, sportsmen and inventors of brands and products ”made in Sweden”. Stockholm grew during the Industrial Revolution at the end of the 1900th Century. Today both the Swedish design and Music Industry are important to the Swedish economy. Every decade or century has its own shining stars that will be in our memories forever. This tour will start in the early banking district of Stockholm, around Gustav Adolfs torg. We will walk through parks and along boulevards with beautiful buildings on the side and the waterfront on the other. The tour ends next to the bridge to Djurgården – the entrance to Djurgården, an Island with many museums and recreation areas- This walk is perfect to combine with a visit to Swedish History Museum(Historiska), the Vasa Museum, the National Museum of Cultural History (Nordiska), ABBA The Museum or the open-air museum Skansen as you find them all in the vicinity.
It is possible to add to this tour even a guided museum visit.
